My name is Louise Dobbin and I am the Staff Health Protection Lead in the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.  I studied Physiotherapy at the University of Ulster and qualified in 2005 and gained experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy before taking up post in 2017 as the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Occupational Health.  In this role I led in the development and implementation of musculoskeletal management referral pathway within the Trust and developed an interest in the multi-disciplinary team within Occupational Health and service improvement.  During the pandemic the opportunity arose to be involved with the Occupational Health’s Covid-19 response and further develop those service improvement skills this included the development and implementation a Vocational Rehabilitation programme.   I continue to be lead on staff health protection initiatives within the Occupational Health Service including staff fit testing and vaccination programmes.
