Lisa Greer

Lisa Greer (MSc, BA (Hons), DipOT) qualified as an occupational therapist in 1995 and has worked in England and Scotland, specialising in mental health and vocational rehabilitation for most of her career. Between 2010 and 2013 she was the Scottish Government National AHP Lead for Vocational Rehabilitation and Mental Health, responsible for driving forward the role of allied health professionals in meeting the work-related needs of people accessing healthcare. As NHS Lanarkshire's AHP Lead for Vocational Rehabilitation she continues to raise the profile of work as a health outcome, offering training, mentoring and support to colleagues in Lanarkshire and beyond. Lisa has also delivered mental health at work training to a range of employers for the Centre for Mental Health and is a Fidelity Reviewer for Individual Placement and Support services across Scotland.

In 2017 Lisa moved into a new and exciting area of practice, successfully testing and growing an innovative primary care occupational therapy service in Lanarkshire as part of the Scottish Government’s Mental Health and Primary Care Transformation Programme. She continues to take a leading role in the development of this service as well as offering mentorship to colleagues in newly established services across Scotland.
