Dr Robin Cordell

Robin Cordell is in day to day clinical practice as an occupational physician, and is co-owner and Chairman of Cordell Health, a social enterprise delivering occupational health services across a range of organisations in the public, private and charitable sectors.   He had previously served for more than 20 years in clinical and leadership roles in the Defence Medical Services.

Work in support of the national health and work agenda includes Robin’s elected appointment as a Director of the Council for Work and Health (since 2016), and also as a member of Council of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM).  He was President of the SOM from 2015 to 2016.

Robin is involved in the training of the specialist registrars and other employed doctors in Cordell Health working towards specialist accreditation through the CESR route.  He is also an examiner for the Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed), and the clinical element for the Part 2 Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine examination (MFOM Part 2/AFOM).

He is also currently appointed by the FOM as lead for the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Services (SEQOHS) standards review in 2022.  SEQOHS is the industry standard for occupational health delivery.
